Ayaansh Welfare Foundation was established by Major General Ajay Pal Singh, Vashist Seva Medal (retired), along with a dedicated team of Armed Forces officers. Our vision is to inspire and guide young Indians toward distinguished careers in the Armed Forces. Beyond this primary mission, we are committed to supporting elderly individuals living alone, assisting Veer Naris in securing their rightful benefits, and offering comprehensive counselling for both career and personal development. We also focus on raising awareness about environmental sustainability and health issues within our communities.
Since our founding in February 2022, the Ayaansh Leadership Academy has made significant progress, with 34 students successfully clearing various Armed Forces examinations and interviews, and many now training at prestigious academies. Our partnership with Yashotej Academy further enhances our efforts, enabling us to provide affordable, high-quality education and guidance, especially for youth from rural areas.
Through these initiatives, we strive to nurture capable and responsible future leaders and citizens, ensuring that they are well-prepared for their roles in society and the Armed Forces.

Armed forces keep the nation as one entity.
Individuals who join the military get an unusual chance to become what is vital for national strength and resilience. It’s not just a job but rather becoming dedicated to values such as respect, discipline and equality. In addition, individuals learn about the need for fore planning and decision-making processes in their lives, thus developing essential leadership qualities that go beyond wearing of uniforms. The nation-building requires teamwork that is very much underscored in these operations. The emphasis on physical fitness ensures preparedness for service challenges.
My journey in the Indian Army spans over 38 years, marked by unwavering dedication and a commitment to excellence. As an alumnus of Sainik School and the National Defence Academy, I was privileged to serve in various command roles, including commanding a Medium Regiment, Nuclear Missile Brigade, and an Artillery Division equipped with advanced missile systems like BrahMos, SMERCH, and Pinaka Rocket.
In addition to my operational responsibilities, I also played a crucial role in financial management, overseeing budgets of up to Rs 30,000 crore annually for procurement and modernization initiatives within the Indian Army. Throughout my career, I have been honored with the Vishisht Seva Medal and three Commendation Cards for my distinguished service.
Beyond the military sphere, I have been deeply involved in promoting education and well-being. I am humbled to have received an Honorary Doctorate in Education and have actively pursued my passion for motivating others through public speaking engagements and advocating for physical fitness. My journey is a testament to the values of service, leadership, and resilience that I hold dear.
