Our mission is to guide and inspire young individuals across the country to pursue careers in the Indian Armed Forces while providing essential support for their educational aspirations.
With a focus on addressing the lack of accessible quality education and guidance, especially in rural areas, we strive to bridge the gap and unlock opportunities for every aspiring youth. Through our initiatives, we aim to nurture talent, instill confidence, and pave the way for a brighter future.

My journey in the Indian Army spans over 38 years, marked by unwavering dedication and a commitment to excellence. As an alumnus of Sainik School and the National Defence Academy, I was privileged to serve in various command roles, including commanding a Medium Regiment, Nuclear Missile Brigade, and an Artillery Division equipped with advanced missile systems like BrahMos, SMERCH, and Pinaka Rocket.
In addition to my operational responsibilities, I also played a crucial role in financial management, overseeing budgets of up to Rs 30,000 crore annually for procurement and modernization initiatives within the Indian Army. Throughout my career, I have been honored with the Vishisht Seva Medal and three Commendation Cards for my distinguished service.
Beyond the military sphere, I have been deeply involved in promoting education and well-being. I am humbled to have received an Honorary Doctorate in Education and have actively pursued my passion for motivating others through public speaking engagements and advocating for physical fitness. My journey is a testament to the values of service, leadership, and resilience that I hold dear.
That is why Ayaansh Welfare Foundation was established by Major General (Dr) Ajay Pal Singh, VSM with the aim of enhancing competent and ambitious officers and soldiers for our Armed Forces as its bottom line. We have not wavered from this goal because financial support is a key component in offering economically challenged young people opportunities to follow their ambitions into diverse disciplines. We request all prospective sponsors to partner with us in the effort of building the nation and improving our villages. In conjunction, we are going to change our youth’s existence sensibly as well as promote national growth.
The Indian Armed Forces have gone through numerous challenges throughout history, among them the conflicts such as 1947, 1965, 1971, and Kargil War of 1999. Additionally to combat operations, they have also played a very pivotal role in responding to natural disasters like earthquakes, floods and firefighting showing their multi-facets and commitment toward the nation. Safety and security for citizens is paramount just as fighting insurgencies since independence. However difficult it may be though, military earns great respect and gratitude from its people all over the country for their unflinching devotion and sacrifices made by them.
